Seoul is but a mere 195 kilometres from Pyongyang. In an ideal world, this would mean it taking about three hours to travel between the two cities. Alas, we do not live in an ideal world. Theoretically, at least, one could traverse the DMZ via the one 'open' road between the two countries and head to Kaesong City and, from there, Pyongyang.
