Noodler's X-Feather Fountain Pen Ink Review. While X-Feather is a great idea — a fountain pen ink designed for cheaper, lighter, and recycled paper — it's hit and miss in practice. This is especially true if you are left-handed and the last thing you want is a slow drying ink.

This is an amazing black ink, drying time is 'average' on normal papers - and (though I haven't tested this scientifically) seems to dry a little faster if you dilute it slightly (1 ml water to 4 ml ink - the more you dilute it the more 'grey' it becomes). Another upside to this ink is its performance in calligraphy / flex pen writing.

Let me introduce Noodler's X-Feather — a brilliant, well-behaved black ink that is surprisingly resistant to feathering.
